Feature Three: Developing Students' Potential

Actively promote gifted education, enabling students to strive for excellence in various aspects; discover students' interests and inspire their potential through diverse activities; and provide students with successful experiences and build their self-confidence through diverse educational activities.

1. The Gifted Education Group designs, implements, and develops gifted education strategies in the classroom to fully develop students' talents and enhance their higher-order thinking and problem-solving abilities.

2. The Discipleship Program

• A group of teachers form different groups based on their own interests or strengths, and recruit a small number of students to live together and learn together for a year.

• The aim is to provide further training and development for students who excel in different areas through close mentor-student relationships and diverse learning models.

3. Strengthen student leadership training and cultivate students to become outstanding senior students.

4. Develop large-scale English musicals to stimulate students' comprehensive abilities in English, expression, music, dance, communication, and collaboration, and build students' self-confidence and proactive attitude.

5. Develop STEM education, discover and cultivate students' interest in the application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

6. Invite external experts to provide students with diverse talent training.

7. Connect with different universities, educational institutions, and organizations to provide students with more opportunities for off-campus competitions and activities.

8. Differentiated instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.

• To cater to students' learning moods, worksheets of varying difficulty levels are designed, along with challenging learning activities. Students with strong learning abilities face higher-level challenges to inspire higher-order thinking, while students with slightly weaker learning abilities are engaged in completing the work and gaining a sense of accomplishment.

• Students in grades four through six are grouped according to their learning abilities in order to provide individualized instruction.

• Teachers utilize after-school study groups to extend thematic courses for high-achieving students in different subjects; they also assist students who are slightly weaker in Chinese, English, and mathematics to master and consolidate the lessons they have learned.
