Bible Studies

Purpose:

1. Students will come to know God, establish a close relationship with Him, love God and others in accordance with the truth of the Bible, and glorify God and benefit others throughout their lives.

2. To enable students to understand biblical truth, God's love, and the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. This aligns with the year-round theme for the religious studies group: becoming "children of light" of God, using the Bible verse: "As blameless children of God in a crooked and perverse generation, you shine among them like stars in the sky, holding up the word of life" (Philippians 2:15b-16a).

Course Features:

1. Recommended poems to complement the unit:

When teaching from Primary 1 to Primary 6, subject teachers will introduce two poems related to the theme of each unit in the textbook to students to reinforce what they have learned in the unit.

2. Establish a new assessment model to guide students to reflect on faith and life at different levels:

The Journey of Life Growth

The teachers designed a school-based Bible course, "A Journey of Life Growth," and school-based unit worksheets for each unit in the textbook to reinforce what they learned in the unit and deepen their thirst for truth.

Learning activities:

On-campus activities:

1. Optimize the campus scripture recitation campaign to inspire students to develop faith and practice God's word in their lives.

Through lively and engaging Bible memorization activities, more students are encouraged to participate in Bible memorization during their Friday homeroom teacher's class time. To further encourage student participation, gold, silver, and bronze awards are given throughout the semester for individual Bible memorization. In addition, a champion, runner-up, and third-place prize is awarded to the class that memorizes the most memorable verses across the entire school.

2. Cultivate students' habit of reading devotional books, so that they can draw closer to the Heavenly Father and experience His love and grace.

In class, the instructor encouraged students to read the Amazing Grace devotional magazine and invited them to participate in the "Devotion Rewards Program".

Off-campus competitions:

1. Bible Studies Award Program sponsored by the Chinese Bible Association

To encourage students to study the Bible, our school, in collaboration with the Chinese Bible Association, has launched a Bible subject award program to recognize their efforts in Bible studies.

2. Encourage students to participate in the inter-school Bible story speech competition held by the Christian Literature Publishing House.
