Question and Answer Basic Law Quiz <br /> The Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Civic Education Committee, and the Local Community Working Group of the Steering Committee for the Promotion of the Constitution and the Basic Law will hold a new edition of the "Question and Answer Basic Law Quiz" at the end of October this year. The aim is to enhance participants' understanding of the relationship between the Constitution and the Basic Law, the Basic Law and its history, and the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The competition is divided into parent-child group, junior high school group, middle school group and open group.

Participants can log on to the competition website www.cpce.gov.hk/basiclaw2023-24 to answer 20 questions and submit their application.

The deadline for the preliminary round is December 29 , 2023 .

Participants who complete the preliminary round and successfully submit their application will have a chance to receive a souvenir sent by mail, while supplies last. After the preliminary round closes, the organizers will draw lots to select and invite the participants who answered the most questions correctly in each group to attend the final and awards ceremony, tentatively scheduled for April 2024. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the final round and win great prizes.
