Spiritual Training

Spiritual Training

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

2 Timothy 3:16

Introduction:

Discipline and counseling are an important part of the overall school education. Students' growth depends on teachers setting a good example and patiently guiding them. However, we believe that both discipline and counseling must be based on biblical truth and infused with the Father's love to inspire students and build virtuous character. Therefore, our school's religious, discipline, and counseling teachers maintain close communication and cooperation (spiritual, discipline, and counseling in one), accompanying students in their healthy and happy growth through various student and parent activities, with their love and enthusiasm and positive biblical values.

    We believe:

    • When students understand and practice biblical truth, they can develop correct values and establish good character.
    • Life influences life, and the example set by teachers and parents is an essential element in cultivating students' growth. We value teachers' life qualities and emphasize cooperation between home and school.
    • Discipline is a positive and proactive educational process. We should guide students to face their mistakes, admit them, and take responsibility for the consequences, so that they can develop the ability to reflect on themselves.
    • Prevention is better than cure; cultivating positive values in students is of utmost importance. It is crucial to instill in students the qualities of loving God and others, being humble and polite, honest and upright, diligent and aspiring, and cherishing public property.
    • Love can inspire people. We are committed to building a “caring campus” where students learn to love themselves and others.

    We through:

    • Morning meetings, weekly meetings, student fellowships, Christian youth corps, gospel camps, Bible classes, prayer meetings, and religious activity weeks help students understand the power of the gospel and the truth of the Bible.
    • Moral and civic education classes, the "Sky of Growth" program, the "One Person, One Service" program, the "Chia-Hsing Recognition Program," the "Homework Completion Reward Program," and various tutoring activities are all designed to cultivate students' good character and virtues.
    • Individual and group counseling, care, and support for students and parents facing difficulties.
