Purpose of the incentive program
- To enhance students' interest in learning.
- Students are encouraged to strive for excellent results.
- To enhance students' sense of personal success and self-confidence.

Rewards Star Program
- Those who achieve full marks or meet the set standards in all tests and exams will receive a "reward star".
- Students who achieve the set standards in Chinese and English memorization will receive a "reward star".
- Students who show significant improvement in all subjects will receive a "reward star".
- All "reward stars" will be recorded in the "Reward Star Record Sheet" in the student handbook.
- All accumulated "reward stars" can be redeemed for different prizes at the end of the semester as rewards.
- The award for the most "Reward Stars" earned throughout the semester will be given, with three gold, three silver, and three bronze awards and three excellence awards in each of the junior group (P.1-3) and senior group (P.4-6).
Top Performers
- There are a total of 4 times throughout the academic year.
- The top three students in each class who achieve the highest scores in each subject's tests and exams will be listed.
- The "Achievement Ranking" will be posted on the playground display board on rainy days.
- Each student who made the list received a certificate as encouragement.
Twin Stars
- Each class regularly selects one student who excels in conduct or other talents as the "Star of the Month".
- There are four elections throughout the academic year, and the election themes are announced before the start of the academic year.
- Each class teacher can decide on the election method themselves.
- Each "Star of the Month" student receives three "Reward Stars".
- The "Stars of the Two Months" will be published alongside the "Achievement Ranking" on the display board on the playground during rainy days.
- Each winning student will receive an additional certificate as encouragement.
Award for submitting all assignments for the entire term
- Students who submit all their assignments for the entire semester will receive 10 "reward stars" and 2 merits.
- If a student misses a payment once, they will receive 6 "reward stars"; if they miss a payment twice, they will receive 3 "reward stars".
- Students who fail to submit homework three or more times will not receive "reward stars".
- Students who miss 1-2 assignments throughout the term will receive 1 merit.

Academic Award
a) Ge Zheng Guomei Memorial Scholarship
The top student in the entire grade (the student with the highest average score in the entire grade and the entire academic year).
b) Elder Zou Zai'en Memorial Fund Scholarship
Second in the entire grade (second highest average score in the entire grade and academic year)
C) Third in the entire grade (the student with the third highest average score in the entire grade and the entire academic year)
(Note: If the average score for the entire academic year is the same, the average score for the following semester will be used as the standard.)
Academic Awards
a) Best Chinese Language and Literature Award (for the entire grade)
b) Best English Subject Achievement Award
c) Top prize in mathematics (across all grades)
d) Best General Knowledge Award (Across All Levels)
(Note: If the average score for the entire academic year is the same, the average score for the following semester shall be used as the standard.)
Award for Outstanding Academic Performance
- There is no limit to the number of winners. Eligibility criteria:
1) All subjects must be passed in all tests throughout the year; and
2) The average grade for Chinese language subjects throughout the year is A; and
3) The student achieved an average grade of A in English throughout the year; and
4) The student achieved an average grade of A in mathematics throughout the year; and
5) All conduct grades must be A throughout the year.
Service Award
- Students who have made special contributions and provided services to the school.
- Pages 1-6, one student per class, recommended by the homeroom teacher.
Award for submitting all assignments for the entire term
- There was no record of missing homework throughout the entire semester.
- There is no limit to the number of participants.
Progress Award (Parent-Teacher Association Scholarship)
- One student from each class will be selected who has made the greatest improvement in their grades, and the increase in grades will be compared between the previous semester's final exam and the current semester's final exam.
- The recommended students must pass all three subjects in the next semester's final exams: Chinese, English, and Mathematics.
- Teachers need to consider the character of the students being recommended.
* The above awards will be presented at the graduation ceremony or commencement ceremony.
Shau Kei Wan Chung Chin School Alumni Association "Glory to God and Benefit People" Scholarship
Applicant qualifications and requirements:
A. Applicants must be current Year 6 students at Tsung Chung School in Shau Kei Wan, have made outstanding contributions to the community and/or school service, or have served the school/external organizations.
B. Applicants must complete and return service records regarding their relevant service experience.
C. Applicants must submit copies of relevant service experience certificates.
Application method:
Complete the application form and service record along with copies of supporting documents and submit them to Shau Kei Wan Chung Tsin School, 3 Basel Road, Shau Kei Wan, for forwarding to the Alumni Association's "Glory to God and Benefit People" Scholarship Selection Committee.
Deadline: Mid-May each year
Note:
1. The purpose of the Shau Kei Wan Tsung Tsin School Alumni Association “Glory to God and Benefit People” Scholarship is to encourage students who make outstanding contributions to society and/or school service.
2. The Alumni Association's "Glory to God for Humanity" Scholarship Selection Committee will select up to three students who have made outstanding contributions to society based on the application forms, service records and supporting documents submitted by the applicants. Each winner will receive HK$500.
3. The winners selected by the Alumni Association’s “Glory to God and Benefit People” Scholarship Selection Committee will be confirmed by the Alumni Association and announced by Shau Kei Wan Chung Tsin School in June. The awards will be presented at the Shau Kei Wan Chung Tsin School graduation ceremony.
4. If an applicant has any objection to the list of award winners, they may submit a written appeal to the Alumni Association President within seven days from the date of the announcement of the list, detailing the reasons and supporting evidence. The Alumni Association President will respond to the appeal and the result in writing. Written appeals may be forwarded to the Alumni Association President by the school.
5. The Shau Kei Wan Chung Tsin School Alumni Association reserves the right to make the final selection of the recipients of the Alumni Association “Glory to God and Benefit People” Scholarship.
